Senior Project Manager/Project Manager

Ryden is an independent commercial property practice with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Leeds, London, and Manchester.  

We are a multi award-winning firm, offering expert advice to property occupiers, owners, developers, housebuilders and investors, as well as to the public and education sectors.  

We have opportunities for experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Senior Project Managers/ Project Managers to join us.  Location flexible in either Aberdeen or Edinburgh.

You will be part of the wider project management team, spanning the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Leeds and Manchester offices. (See our project management expertise here)

Responsibilities :

• Liaise with clients on site visits and client meetings
• Sharp focus on business development for new and existing clients
• Delivering plans for projects under your control and monitoring subsequent performance against this, taking corrective action where appropriate
• Manage a range of projects for several clients, delivering all projects to schedule, within budget and meeting all reporting requirements
• Support cross office projects
• Monitor project works on site and sign off on progress certification as required under contractual agreement
• Monitor project schedules and report on exceptions to the plan
• Regularly report to the client on the key project parameters
• Ensure all relevant environmental, health and safety standards are being followed, encouraging a positive health and safety culture
• Arrange handover of all relevant documentation

We would expect you to have the following key skills and experience:

• BSC, Dip PM, MRICS, or relevant qualifications for the project management role
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong proven customer service experience
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Attention to detail and well organised
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• A great team member and colleague
