Purchase Ledger Clerk
EDINBURGH
Reporting to the Head of Property Management Accounts, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Property Management purchase ledger invoices and payments to suppliers on behalf of Property Management clients.
This is a part-time role of 20 hours a week over 4-5 days and with a flexible working pattern home and office based.
Duties to include:
- Management of Purchase ledger central inbox, following agreed workflow processes for each category of incoming correspondence.
- Input of purchase ledger invoices to the accounting system in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Carry out BACS payment runs as required.
- Liaise with departmental staff as necessary.
- Managing and resolving supplier invoice queries.
- Request and post supplier refunds as required.

- Highly numerate with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to manage a busy workload.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Prepared to take ownership of tasks and outputs.
- Flexible approach to working pattern, with the ability to adjust to the meet the needs of our internal and external clients.
