Property Management Senior Surveyor/Associate

Ryden LLP are currently recruiting for a Property Management Surveyor/Senior Surveyor to join our leading and well established Edinburgh based team. There will also be the requirement to work across the central belt.

The role is ideally suited to someone with an ability to work on their own initiative and within a team environment with excellent IT and communication skills. 

Applicants will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of properties including office, retail and industrial and premises and for maintaining and building relationships with clients.

This is a wide-ranging role including a range of estate management duties and frequent liaison with tenants which requires relevant technical and relationship skills.

Experience of working in a property management role is essential.

About the role

  • Administration of service charge preparation and monitoring of budgets.
  • Liaison and co-ordination of Facilities Management and Accounts functions.
  • Working on new business opportunities
  • Regular client reporting.
  • Provision of advice in relation to lease events.
  • Undertaking management inspections.
  • Tenant liaison.

About you

  • RICS qualified with relevant and up to date commercial property knowledge.
  • To be self-motivated to meet and exceed client’s expectations.
  • To be commercially aware in both retaining work and winning new work for both the department and other divisions within Ryden.
  • Strong communicator with effective verbal and written skills.
  • To promote the profile of our Property Management team.
  • Act as a role model and mentor.
