Rachel Clark

Rachel is an Associate within Ryden’s Professional group dealing with valuations and landlord and tenant work. She graduated from Aberdeen University in 2011 and joined Lambert Smith Hampton’s Edinburgh office as a Graduate Surveyor the same year, successfully obtaining her RICS accreditation in November 2013. Rachel joined the Aberdeen office of Ryden in March 2017.

Rachel has 10 years of experience working in the commercial property market and has worked on behalf of a wide range of clients with an interest in property whether as occupier, owner, investor, developer or funder.

PROJECTS:

Valuations Valuations and reports for local and national clients for internal accounting, pension, acquisition and disposal purposes throughout the North East of Scotland in respect of industrial, office, retail and development sites. Prior to January 2020, Rachel also provided Red Book valuations for secured lending purposes on behalf of mainstream banks.  Clients have included; Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council, Huntaven Properties Limited and @Sipp.

Portfolio Valuations Valuation of numerous property portfolios covering a range of property types.  Clients have included: Wasps Studios, Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration and secured lenders.

Rent Review & Lease Renewal Negotiation of rent reviews and lease renewals and providing pre-negotiation advice on behalf of both landlords and tenants in respect of ground leases, offices, retail units and industrial units throughout the North East of Scotland. Clients have included; Scotmid, Independent VetCare Limited and private clients.
