Iain joined Ryden in 2006 following four years based in the South-East of England where he specialised in commercial agency. Working within the Edinburgh Office Agency team, Iain provides advice to clients on all aspects of commercial agency, with a focus on the disposal and acquisition of office premises.

London & Scottish Investments Retained letting agent advising on 31,500 sq ft office building in West Edinburgh.

Castleforge Partners Retained letting agent on 85,000 sq ft mixed-use development at Commercial Quay, Leith.

Northwood Investors Provided pre-acquisition advice on 71,500 sq ft office development along with advice on refurbishment and marketing strategy and subsequently retained as letting agent. 

Scottish Ministers Advised on the search and acquisition of c. 9,000 sq ft for Police Scotland Public Inquiry space. This work was undertaken throughout the challenging backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nucleus Financial Group Advisor to Nucleus, one of the shining lights of Edinburgh’s thriving FinTech scene, since 2007 and most recently acted in the acquisition of 22,750 sq ft of Grade A office space at Greenside.

Morris & Spottiswood Acquired the heritable interest of 7,590 sq ft office building and associated land at South Gyle Crescent. Also advised on letting of surplus ground floor suite within the property. 

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Advised on the consolidation of three existing city centre locations into a new 9,000 sq ft headquarters office along with the disposal of the heritable interest in a city centre property asset.
