David Lindsay
David joined Ryden in 2014, has over 20 years of experience in commercial surveying practice and has joint responsibility for Building Surveying across our Edinburgh and Glasgow Offices.
His skills include both professional advisory services such as dilapidations advice, building surveys, schedules of condition and general estate strategy advice. He also offers contract administration and project management advice over a variety of project types.
David has conducted pre-acquisition surveys of various property types including industrial units, retail units, town houses and purpose built offices. He has also dealt with specialist property types including a WW2 prisoner of war camp, nuclear shelter, and national power stations.

PROJECTS:
Police Scotland Management and coordination of over 300 surveys for Police Scotland across all operational and residential properties, reporting on condition and associated costs, with all surveys completed and reported on within a 9 month period.
IVC Management and coordination of pre-acquisition and schedules of condition to more than 500 veterinary practices across the UK.
The Registers of Scotland Head Office Project management for a large refurbishment and adaptation with a project value of over £6m.
Project / Fund Monitoring Various projects including residential, commercial and student accomodation, with values ranging between £5 million and £50 million.
