Colin Busby
Colin is Edinburgh Regional Managing Partner and a very experienced real estate and construction professional with over 30 years of commercial property involvement. Prior to joining Ryden in 2012, Colin held senior positions within DTZ’s Scottish business and UK Project and Building Consultancy team.
He has a wide spectrum of experience in commercial building surveying and project management activities, encompassing building refurbishment, new build and professional work on commercial, retail and industrial properties. Colin specialises in occupier related consultancy and project management.

PROJECTS:
Project Management Project management and contract administration of new build, refurbishment and fit out contracts including projects for Aegon, Ballie Gifford Aberdeen Standard invesments, UBS, Aggreko plc, TH Real Estate and Hermes.
Building Surveys Due diligence and technical building surveys for all types of commercial property ranging from large shopping centres to offices and industrial units, including strategic advice to institutional clients, investors and occupiers.
Occupiers Space audits, user requirement analysis and space planning for numerous public and private/plc organisations.
Project Monitoring Project monitoring on behalf of funders/purchasers - including multi-million pound shopping centre and retail development; monitored large (£50M+) 'Grade A' office development.
