Ben Dobson

Ben joined Ryden's Industrial Agency team in 2023. He previously worked for JLL and latterly Galbraith where he led the commercial agency team across Scotland. Ben has advised on developments, acquisitions, consultancy, leasehold/heritable disposals and occupier services. He specialises in the industrial and logistics sector and also has experience in other property types including office and retail.

PROJECTS

Industrial disposals and acquisitions:

General marketing advice/disposal of property and land by way of lease or outright sale for clients such as IPIF, Chancerygate, JCAM, Muir Group, Hargreaves Land, LaSalle Investment Management, Mileway, Hermes and Caisson.

Strategic Occupier Services: 

Providing a full spectrum of advice for occupier clients through acquisition, relocation or expansion. Dealing with single unit acquisitions to a whole portfolio asset review and strategic property advice. Previous clients include MAN Truck & Bus, Menzies Distribution, RES UK & Ireland Ltd, Sidey Ltd and SRL Traffic Systems.

Development:

Actively involved in the industrial development market for design and build opportunities and also speculative schemes including 7 Hills Business Park and Capital Park in Edinburgh, the largest speculative development to take place in East Central Scotland for over 10 years.
