New letting at Graft, 241 West George Street in Glasgow
15 October 2020
Acting on behalf of City Site Life Limited, joint letting agents Ryden and Avison Young are delighted to announce a new letting at Graft, 241 West George Street, Glasgow.
The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society, represented by Lambert Smith Hampton have leased the fully fitted out and furnished lower ground floor in Graft for a 2-year term on an all-inclusive basis.
The letting follows in quick succession after the previous flexible lease to energy company SSE, who also acquired the full floor to fulfil a short term contract and further cements City Site Life’s strategy to create a high quality fully fitted out space ready for immediate occupation.
Jim McCain from City Site Life comments:
“With the current uncertainty in the office market due to the COVID 19 pandemic we believe that the flexible offer provided by GRAFT fits perfectly into the pattern for the “new working norm”. GRAFT provides an occupier with a flexible leasing arrangement, in an excellent working environment with immediate entry into an office suite they can operate from day one without any capital expenditure upfront.
“On the back of this success we plan to roll out the same format on the Ground Floor suite of the building.”
Tim Jacobsen, of joint letting agents Ryden adds:
“As we continue through increasingly uncertain times, properties such as Graft, where the landlord has gone to the expense of extensively fitting out office space to remove the cost and hassle factor from the tenants, are likely to capitalise.”
A Royal London spokesperson said:
"This property is in an ideal location close to our current office. It offers us all the facilities we need in a prime spot and as it is fully fitted it makes our move much easier.”
In addition to the Ground Floor that will shortly be fitted out, City Site Life can offer the 2nd & 3rd floors in the building on either a traditional or fitted out ‘Cat A’ route in suites ranging from 2,500 sq ft to 4,250 sq ft.
